The period of training for postdoctoral trainees in this program will last for up to two years. Postdoctoral trainees will work on research projects and manuscripts in collaboration with faculty mentors, and present and submit independent research manuscripts, typically stemming from their dissertations, as well as from new projects. Postdocs will have the opportunity to engage in supplementary coursework, as needed, to develop expertise in the theoretical, substantive, and methodological skills required for rigorous and innovative scholarship in population health. Finally, the Program includes professional development activities that integrate trainees across disciplines; supervision by an interdisciplinary team of faculty mentors; and regular evaluation of program and career progress.
