Yunshu is a second-year PhD student in Health Services Research, Policy & Administration with a concentration in Health Economics, and a Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Fellow at Medtronic. She received her Master’s degree in Health Economics and Policy from Cornell University. As a 2025 ISRDI Summer Diversity Fellow, she used large-scale longitudinal survey data and machine learning methods to identify key family and social predictors of adolescent educational attainment across racial and ethnic subgroups.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of health economics and policy, mental health, social determinants of health, and medical devices economic evaluation with a strong methodological emphasis on machine learning, causal inference, and economic evaluation.
