MPC Primary Research Areas
Research Interests

My current research interests include understanding the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on the emotional well-being of youth and exploring the complex interplay between individual, familial, and community factors in mitigating the negative effects of ACEs on young people's emotional health. Through my work, I hope to develop evidence-based mentoring interventions that can significantly enhance the resilience and overall well-being of youth who are at risk of adverse outcomes.
