Research Interests

I'm working on a project on increasing food access for low income population through online grocery delivery. In specific, our focus lied on the food access for residents of urban food deserts of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. We plan to understand the the demographic characteristics and needs of residents of these food deserts, and develop a plan to increase food access through industrial collaboration.

Biography

Yeonjoo is a Ph.D candidate at Supply Chain and Operations department at the Carlson School of Management. Her research interests lie in the areas of behavioral operations, retail operations, sustainable operations, and consumer behavior. She investigates the behavioral issues influencing environmental and social sustainability of supply chains, with particular focus on the logistics decision for online retailers.
