Research Interests
My population studies-related research interests revolve around assessing the effectiveness of cancer therapies using simulation modeling. I find this research crucial given the substantial societal resources allocated to healthcare, with a focus on ensuring that these resources are directed towards interventions that truly provide value. Specifically, I am interested in investigating the disparities between the efficacy demonstrated by cancer medications in clinical trials and their real-world performance in diverse populations. This exploration is essential to ensure the overall applicability and effectiveness of impactful cancer therapies in the populations that they are meant to help.
