Research Interests
My research interest is in childhood obesity and cardiovascular disease risk factors. Childhood obesity prevalence is increasing and this is a critical public health problem due to a high risk of developing comorbid conditions and complications including but not limited to diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and obstructive sleep apnea. I am also interested in sex differences in response to childhood obesity intervention.
Biography
I am a 3rd year Epidemiology PhD student at the School of Public Health. My research focuses on childhood obesity and cardiovascular disease risks. I am also interested in sex differences in response to childhood obesity interventions.
