Biography

Sierra Clark is a PhD candidate in Sociology whose research examines how racialized spatial inequalities shape environmental exposures and population health. Her dissertation examines how the legacy of discriminatory housing policies impact contemporary access to parks in Minneapolis. Drawing from spatial data, historical records, and mobility patterns, her research connects sociology, social epidemiology, and environmental justice to analyze how racial capitalism organizes uneven access to environmental amenities.
