Biography

Rafael Arias Achío is a PhD student of Education Policy and Leadership at the University of Minnesota, and a population studies trainee at the Minnesota Population Center. His research is focused on how education policy and school contexts influence well-being and health outcomes across the life course. He holds a master's degree in public affairs from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences in Mexico City, and undergraduate studies in international relations from the National University of Costa Rica, his home country.
