Quin is a Health Services Research, Policy, & Administration PhD student who studies health communication, narrative change, and computational mixed methodology. As a two-spirit person and descendant of the Oneida Nation, their work often centers Native Americans and the health and social issues prevalent in Native communities. They currently work at the Collaboration on Media and Messaging for Health and Social Policy (COMM-HSP).

Quin received their MPH in Public Health Administration & Policy from the University of Minnesota in 2024, where they focused on media portrayals of people experiencing homelessness in local news stories throughout the Minneapolis - St.Paul Metro Area, analyzing how these portrayals impede support for affordable housing policies and systems level change.
