Research Interests

Of MPC's five primary research areas, my research interests are aligned with Reproductive Health, Work, Family & Time and Structural Racism and Health Inequities. Specifically, my research explores the lived experiences of work for marginalized populations. At the center of this work is the experience of mothers of color. I've published work regarding advocating for organizational policy towards reproductive justice. Additionally, my work has highlighted the ways that structural racism, oppression and anti-Blackness impact work dynamics such as employee wellness, and psychological safety. I've researched the impact of COVID on mothers of color at work as well as students in educational systems.
