Research Interests
I am a PhD candidate in Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota with a Graduate Minor in Human Rights from the Institute for Global Studies. I was a visiting scholar at Princeton University (2023-2024) in the Research Program in Development Economics.
I am an Applied Microeconomist studying the political, institutional, and cultural drivers of development and violence. My research lies at the intersection of Development Economics, the Economics of Crime, Political Economy, and Behavioral Economics using quasi-experimental methods, field experiments, computational text analysis, and archival research.
