I study cancer epidemiology and late effects of childhood cancer therapies. I am interested in understanding sociodemographic and environmental risk factors for long-term health complications of childhood cancer therapies.
Dr. Turcotte is a pediatric oncologist, specializing in hematologic malignancies. Academically, she is interested in cancer survivorship. She serves as the Director of the Cancer Survivorship Services and Translational Research program in the Masonic Cancer Center, and she leads the Second Malignancy Working Group within the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study and is the Chair for the Subsequent Malignant Neoplasm and Cancer Screening Task Force for the Children’s Oncology Group Long-Term Follow-Up Guidelines.
