Research Interests

My research examines how rental housing policies shape social and spatial inequality in the United States and Germany. I have written on tenant movements, party realignment, and housing policy formation, and am now focused on mitigating displacement and the effects of eviction laws. This work investigates how such policies influence displacement, segregation, and population stability, with implications for health and socioeconomic outcomes. By integrating policy analysis with demographic and spatial data, I aim to contribute to research on housing, inequality, and population well-being.
