Biography

I am a Labor Economist doing research on human capital formation in early childhood. My research studies the effect of government policies on parental decision-making, the way this shapes family environments for young children, and the subsequent effects on cognitive and socioemotional skill formation. My current work focuses on two specific applications of this research program: government provision of cash assistance, and government policies affecting marital dissolution.
