Biography

Grace is a PhD student in Geography with a focus on food security, mobility, demography, and GIS. She has previous training in GIS from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She joined the MPC in 2020 as a Graduate Research Assistant and Population Studies Predoctoral Trainee.

Grace’s research interests in accessibility related to food security in developing countries stems from her experience using GIS to visualize and solve spatial problems as well as her passion for helping disadvantaged populations in developing countries that are vulnerable to climate change. Her current projects use IPUMS DHS survey data to conduct location analyses and model mobility and accessibility as it relates to food aid in developing countries.
