Biography
I am an environmental epidemiologist interested in understanding how the social determinants of health in neighborhoods impact chronic disease development. I have broad experience collaborating with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds to join forces to tackle critical public health issues. I am an effective bilingual communicator of public health problems as demonstrated through extensive teaching experience in health-related areas. I am skilled at designing and leading research projects that include multidisciplinary approaches to complex situations.
