Biography
I’m a PhD student in Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. My research interests lie in labor, education, development, and population economics, with a particular focus on how human capital formation and social protection policies shape labor market outcomes over the life cycle. I study how education, teachers, non-cognitive skills, and access to public programs influence labor supply, inequality, and long-run economic mobility, especially in developing countries. My current work examines the labor market effects of non-contributory social protection programs, as well as the role of teachers and peers, and early-life environments in shaping educational and behavioral outcomes.
