Biography

I am a PhD candidate in Applied Economics, and I am interested in understanding the structural drivers of labor informality. In particular, I study its connection with internal migration and the spatial concentration of economic opportunities in Peru. My interest in this topic grew out of my work with the Ministry of Labor, where I gained experience in applied econometrics and policy analysis. I use large-scale survey data and empirical methods to examine how these dynamics shape labor market outcomes.
