Biography
Asha Hassan is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's Health. A health services researcher and medical sociologist, her research focuses on conceptualizing structural racism's relationship to family planning access, provision, and decision-making, understanding police violence as a manifestation of structural racism and its impacts on reproductive health, and assessing the intersections of disability and reproductive justice in clinical policy.
