I am interested in housing affordability, public housing, and homelessness as they impact health outcomes across the life course. I conduct research to answer questions about how we can best ensure all people are stably housed without perpetuating harmful cycles of poverty, and to benefit population health over time. I'm a student researcher on a pilot grant with the LCC - Long-term implications of early life exposure to the US Public Housing program (PI: Dr. Andy Fenelon).
I am interested in housing stability and affordability as foundational social determinants to a variety of health outcomes. My work focuses on understanding the health implications of different housing exposures and policies, in hopes of finding solutions to housing instability and homelessness that do not perpetuate cycles of poverty, and support the health of residents across the life course.
