Ana Melissa Perez

Biography

I am a PhD candidate in the Applied Economics Department at the University of Minnesota. I hold a bachelor's and master's in Economics from Universidad del Valle (Colombia) My research interests include health economics, development, and food prices. Currently, I am a Research Assistant for Professor Metin Cakir in the Applied Economics Department at the University of Minnesota. My previous work experience includes three years as a researcher at the Center of Studies in Social Protection and Health Economics (PROESA) and working at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture.
