Biography
My general research interest is Geographical Information Science (GIScience), focusing on the development and application of spatial analytic methods to visualize, explore, analyze and model movement and change in geographic space with respect to time. My empirical focus is human mobility and accessibility within various spatial scales, especially at urban and regional level. I am also interested in transportation planning, public health and ecology. I am motivated by the great potential for spatio-temporal thinking in computational and data-driven science, and a fundamental belief that science is meant to serve humanity, society and the environment
