2022 iNTERDISCIPLINARY ASSOCIATION FOR POPULATION HEALTH SCIENCE conference (Sept. 20 - 23, 2022)

  • Dr. Claire Kamp Dush will be leading an in-person pre-conference workshop titled, "The National Couples' Health and Time Study (NCHAT): For New and Prospective Users" on Tuesday, September 20th, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm.
  • Laura Houghtaling will be presenting "Gender and Sexual Identity Disparities in COVID-19 Coping Patterns" during the concurrent session, The COVID-19 Pandemic, Coping Responses, and Impact on Population Health, on Wednesday, September 21st from 1:30 - 2:45 pm.

  • Dr. Allen Mallory will be presenting, "Variability in Same‐Gender Couples’ Gender and Sexual Identity and Associations With Relationship Quality Among Same- and Mixed-Orientation Couples."
  • Dr. Alexandra VanBergen will be presenting, "Suicide Risk For Coupled Bisexual Adults: Does a Disparity Still Exist?"

  • Dr. Claire Kamp Dush and Dr. Wendy Manning presented, "COVID, Racial Trauma, and Sexual and Gender Minorities in the US: New Evidence from the National Couples' Health and Time Study," as Webinar #11 of NIH's SGMRO Scientific Webinar Series. The slides will be available soon!
  • The NCHAT team hosted a virtual training webinar on August 18, 2022. The recording and slides for this workshop can be found here.
  • Policy and Research workshop at the American Sociological Association Conference (8/9/22): Dr. Claire Kamp Dush led a workshop titled, "The National Couples' Health and Time Study (NCHAT): For New and Prospective Users" on Tuesday, August 9th, from 2 to 3:30 pm in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Poster presentation at the 2022 National LGBTQ Health Conference (7/29/22): Dr. Claire Kamp Dush presented a poster titled, "The National Couples' Health and Time Study (NCHAT): For New and Prospective Users" in Chicago, IL. See the poster here!
  • NCHAT Training workshop (7/19/22): NCHAT hosted a one-day training workshop in Minneapolis, MN in conjunction with the Data-Intensive Research Conference.
