About MPC

The Minnesota Population Center (MPC) is a University-wide interdisciplinary cooperative for demographic research. MPC supports innovative research in population dynamics at the University of Minnesota and around the world by fostering connections among population researchers across disciplines, developing leading-edge collaborative research projects, providing technical and administrative support for demographic research, and training the next generation of interdisciplinary population researchers. MPC serves 95 faculty members and research scientists from ten colleges and 26 departments at the University of Minnesota. As a leading developer and disseminator of demographic data, we also serve a broader audience of over 100,000 researchers worldwide.
