Tanja Andic

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology. My dissertation research looks at how youth in post-socialist Serbia conceive of the future, as economic and social uncertainty continue to burden the transitioning state's population.
I have also worked with Teresa Gowan, Sarah Whetstone, and Erin Hoekstra on an ethnographic project studying perspectives on drug use and addiction in the U.S., and with Joseph Svec on the relationship between intimate partner violence and household decision-making in Peru using IPUMS-DHS data.
