I am studying the relationship between political polarization and partisanship to health policy decisions, with a current focus on the state of Wisconsin and the tenure of former Governor Scott Walker. My interests also include the impact of health policy and health care on elections and voter decision. Beyond Wisconsin, I am also interested in these political contours in Minnesota, my home state of Colorado, and Michigan. I am also interested in mental health policy, substance use policy, and health insurance reform more broadly.
