Research Interests

I am interested in consumer behavior, and health economics. I have some research experience in the field of diabetic health and I look forward to acquiring skills to explore the relationship between public policies, human behavior, and health outcomes. I am interested in the application of computational economics and policy analysis to better the human health outcomes.

Biography

Subin Poudel is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. His research is focused on understanding the health outcomes of individuals from food, consumption, and behavioral perspectives. He uses the tools of behavioral and computational economics to understand and make policy recommendations for better health outcomes. Subin is also interested in applied microeconomics and human-environment interactions.
