Flexible Work and Well-Being Center (FWWB)
Managing work and family responsibilities in the U.S. is often difficult and impacts the health and well-being of employees, their families, and the workplace. While the prevalence of "family-friendly" or "work-life" policies in U.S. workplaces has increased dramatically in recent years, there are few longitudinal studies using experimental designs that allow researchers and employers to evaluate the effects of these changes on work-family conflict, health outcomes, and organizational effectiveness.

Institute on the Environment (IonE)
The University of Minnesota's Institute on the Environment is discovering solutions to Earth's biggest problems through cutting-edge research, partnerships and leadership development. Research at IonE addresses today's grand environmental challenges, including the need to provide energy, food and freshwater to the world in sustainable and economically viable ways.

Life Course Center (LCC)
The Life Course Center, a unit in the University of Minnesota Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation, supports scholarly inquiry related to the life course. Life course studies encompass all stages of life from birth to death. Affiliated faculty use a wide range of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches, including qualitative and quantitative work, historical studies of the life course in different periods, comparative work that spans diverse societal contexts, and applied, policy-relevant research.

Minnesota Data Center Coordinating Member
The Minnesota Population Center is one of three coordinating members of the Minnesota State Data Center network. Within the network, the Population Center serves as the data depository and fee-based custom service provider.

Minnesota Research Data Center (MnRDC)
The Minnesota Census Research Data Center provides access to Census micro data for approved research projects. These data sets are not a regular part of the Census Bureau data dissemination program. The MnRDC provides researchers with access to non-public versions of decennial census and demographic surveys; economic census and surveys; and health data from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC)
SHADAC's Data Center, a web-based table generator tool allowing users to customize tables and graphs of health insurance coverage estimates within a pre-defined set of parameters. The Data Center is a user-friendly and easily accessible way to get health insurance coverage estimates from the Current Population Survey's Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS) and the American Community Survey (ACS).

Whole Village Project - Tanzania
The Whole Village Project is an interdisciplinary research and development project based in Tanzania with a University home within the Minnesota Population Center and the Office of International Programs. The vision of the Whole Village project is to work with people in rural Tanzanian villages to acquire and use knowledge for improving long-term health and well-being while sustaining natural resources.
